We film and stream funerals and memorial services, and we have the experience of capturing them as unobtrusively as possible.
Sadly, we tend to be busy with our jobs and daily routines. Sometimes, we only truly realise what someone meant to us after they have passed away. At the funeral or memorial service, a part of the grieving process is remembering the stories of the loved one. During the eulogy, when friends and family share their fondest memories, it is worth capturing to remember these kind words. Unfortunately, we often do not remember the speeches, readings, poems and music as the day can be emotional.
Filming a funeral service or memorial can also help to preserve those most precious memories and share them with relatives and friends who are unable to attend.
How does the funeral or memorial filming work?
Firstly, we would have a conversation with you to find out how we might be able to help you with the recording, what your expectations are and what your primary reason for wanting us to film the funeral is. Based on our conversation, we will prepare a quote that meets your requirements. A 50% deposit will be required to book the service and date. The remaining is paid before editing commences. Once the funeral or memorial video editing has been edited, you can share it online privately with friends and family who may not be able to attend.
We understand that this is a sad time for you and your relatives, and therefore, our funeral/memorial videographers do their best to minimise being obtrusive. Our equipment is relatively small in size and therefore more discreet. Our funeral videographers are mindful of camera positioning and try to be as discreet and unobtrusive as possible while doing their utmost to film from the most appropriate angles. Our funeral or memorial filming package includes the following:

Usually, we provide two main videos to our clients. The highlight video is approximately 5 - 10 minutes long (like above). The second video consists of all the speeches and readings recorded in full as a separate video. The length of these videos depends on the reading or eulogy length. It is possible to have a longer recording and edit of the entire ceremony if needed for an additional cost. This would need to be planned prior to the filming.
